To the Members of the Board of Education:

It is a pleasure to report that the Palo Alto Art Center Foundation voted unanimously at the May board meeting to support Measure A.  As advocates of the arts, we strongly support adequate funding for the district’s K-12 curriculum.  Palo Alto Unified School District has long been a leader in arts education in the State of California.  The Youth Art Exhibit is testimony to the quality of work done by the students and their teachers.

The Foundation is convinced that the collaboration between the Art Center and the School District has resulted in better programs than either of us could have offered alone.  The Youth Art Exhibit, Project Look! and Cultural Kaleidoscope have all resulted from the strong relationship we have long enjoyed.

You will have our support again on June 7th.

Cordially,

Anne Gregor, President
Palo Alto Art Center Foundation
